Kaspersky Mobile Security offers you complete peace of mind, knowing that your smartphone and your data have the advanced protection against privacy violation, device loss or theft, annoying calls and messages, as well as malicious software.

Features:

Anti-Theft

  • Remotely Lock or Wipe your phone if it is lost or stolen. Just send a special SMS to a missing device to remotely activate protection.
  • Prearranged message will be displayed on the screen if the smartphone is locked, allowing any law-abiding citizen that finds your smartphone to return it to you.
  • Locate your smartphone using GPS, GSM or Wi-Fi – see it’s exact location on Google Maps.

The first thing a thief normally does is to remove a SIM card. If the SIM is replaced, SIM Watch feature will immediately lock the device and send you an email alert with the new number.

Call & SMS Filter

  • Choose which contacts you want to accept calls and messages from. Easily blacklist annoying numbers just by a single click.

Privacy Protection

  • You can mark a contact as ‘private’, meaning that no trace of them will appear in contact lists, SMSs and call logs. Other people using your mobile will only see what you allow them to see.

Anti-Malware Protection

  • Everything you need to keep your smartphone protected: real-time protection from malware, on-demand or scheduled antivirus scans, automatic updates over-the-air.

What’s in this version: (Updated : Mar 19, 2013)

  • Android 4.2 support
  • Mugshot for identification of unauthorized users of your smartphone by secretly taking their picture
  • Anti-Theft Web Management portal – web-based control centre providing an easy-to-use, convenient way to interact with your phone remotely

+++
Requires Android: 1.6 and up

I also would like to ask a few more as well if you don’t mind?

Why do most phones require phone state and identity? What do they use it for?

What should I look for when trying to be safe when downloading apps? What makes these apps safe when they have crazy permissions like “can take over thewhole screen”Seeing things like this worry me.

So what I’m mainly asking is how should I go about downloading apps and knowing its safe?

I have a Nokia 1600. A few years ago I put a security lock in the mobile by going to Menu>Settings>Security settings>Access codes>

As you would know, whenever I press the Menu button and then * button, the keypad is locked. If I press the Unlock button now, the mobile asks for Security code. Then, I have to give my Security code to unlock the keypad.

Now, I want to remove this Security code. I went to Menu>Settings>Security settings>Change access codes>Change security code. There, I was asked my Security code; I entered it. Now, the phone asks me to “Enter new security code:”.
But this is not what I want. I don’t want a new security code. I want to remove the “Enter Security code” thing when I unlock my keypad. If I am to enter a new security code, then for that matter my previous security code is working well and fine. But this is not what I want. When I bought the phone, there was no Security code set. I set it after buying the phone. I want to remove the Security code which I had set so that the phone behaves as it had behaved before I set the Security code, i.e., not asking to enter “Security code” when I unlock the keypad.

In Menu>Settings>Security settings>Change access codes>Change security code, there is no option to remove Security code. I can only enter new security code but cannot remove security code from my phone. How can I remove the Security code from my phone? Plz help.

i have android cell phone and i installed comodo mobile security. The problem is that when i click scan, the entire device is scanned in like 15 seconds only? As you know on desktop or laptop that is totally impossible.

Secondly, the antivirus database is always up to date. Never seen it updating. Thirdly, no malware is ever found. No ads or junk is blocked.

On computer you can test EICAR to see if antivirus works, but how to check on android?

I believe there is malware on my android that is eating my battery life very rapidly.
    https://m.comodo.com/
also where is the FIREWALL on comodo mobile protection? comodo is well known for firewall but there seems none for cell phone. How come?

Just got the HTC one here in Canada and now I’m reading about the “99%” android bug and should I be worried?

I don’t plan on side loading any apps and customizing the phones roms and stuff. Every app I get will come from the google play store.

I was an iPhone 4 user so I’m used to not worrying (like the htc one better) but do android homes have safety settings that I can set that will help protect my phone? I don’t want my phone to be slow and full of bugs a year from now. I want it to last.
