Think about it: An automated automobile run by a computer that has a GPS navigation device that can bring you anywhere you want. You wouldn’t have to worry about crazy taxi cab drivers or driving yourself when you don’t feel like it.

Not onlive, but similar. Not sure if its around anymore but I used to have it. You could play games like Crazy Taxi, Hydro Thunder, and PC games as well. It was also separated by system and genres. Needed an online connection I believe.

  17. Le Pwner says:

Suppose your coding a crazy taxi type of game. The taxi hits a parked 1300kg car on the edge of the bumper with 3300 N*m of torque. If the distance from the point of collision and the cars center of mass is 1,83m, what was the resulting angular acceleration?
I believe to solve I would do this
    3300(2/5*1300*1.83m^2) =e
    is this correct?

  18. Hannah says:

I went on crazy taxi for the second time and when I press up, the screen scrolls up, and when I brake (down) the screen scrolls down? How can I fix this? I have tried clicking on the screen to make it stop moving. And the out part. Also, I’ve tried holding the left mouse.
I’ve tried restarting my laptop but that didnt work. I’ll try refreshing the page tomorrow.

in facebook, what addicting games are there, not like crazy taxi, or bowling buddies or glamour parking that you can only play once, i mean like MobWars/MafiaWars, and farmville :S (i know, but its a good example), or games that you have to build your way up. any ideas?

  28. gail C says:

When I was a little boy I never played Nintendo. I truly am a gamer. My friends who are also gamers said there first games were Mario,Zelda,Starfox,Conquer’s bad fur day, kid icurus, Pokemon, and many others, these games I never played. My first game that I played was Crazy Taxi, then superhero movie licensed games and then Star Wars games. Have I missed out?

  29. xLittle21Yaox says:

I try every day playing the game the way it’s meant to be played and it’s hard. Right now, we’re having an accident fest with me as Axel behind a white car and another red car was hitting another vehicle. Every time I play, I at least hit something. Who has avoided that and how can I avoid that problem that conflicts with a perfect game of Crazy Taxi? I even tried hitting the brakes one time and I still hit vehicles.

  30. Joey 01 says:

I recently bought a micro and own Mario Kart but would like to know if there any good mission based driving games available as opposed to straight forward racing games.

Whenever I play the Swagbucks game Crazy Taxi, it gets really glitchy after I get around 50,000 points. The cars start to stall a lot and it’s hard for me to tell when I’m supposed to jump. Any suggestions?
EDIT: I found that it’s not around 50,000 points, it’s actually when I reach level 12.

  50. liza says:

I’ve always loved games like Broken Sword, Crash Bandicoot, Crazy Taxi, and things like that. But I can only ever find the typical ‘apocalyptic’ style and fighting games that most people tend to play nowadays. Are there any games for xbox 360 that are in any way similar to the above, or are reminiscent of classic 90′s ones please?

  51. colingrillo says:

Yesterday, I gave a store (a secondhand gaming store which specializes in older games that is) $5 for a Crazy Taxi disc for Sega Dreamcast. It was in it’s original case and I walked home (it’s within a safe and short walking distance so I walked there). I went home, took the disc out and put it in my dreamcast. I turned it on, and the Dreamcast gave an error message to me about “please put in a game”. I saw no disc scratches on the top, so it is not in such bad condition. However, I did see a few on the bottom (this is the state of the game in the case when I purchased it). I did attempt to clean it using methods such as toothpaste, washing it off, cleanex, but used no machines. I know that I didn’t screw up my Dreamcast because my game disc of Sega Smash Pack works perfectly fine (not a burned copy, both are legitimate). How do I politely explain that I would like a refund due to the disc acting completely faulty (the owner knows me well but did not give me a receipt)?

  52. homerliveshere says:

I had searched around for torrents and files for downloading Crazy Taxi 3 but they either need membership fees or invalid websites or files. Does anybody knows where can i download free and full? Thank you.

  53. Rassling Fundamentals says:

Ok, so on Tuesday evening, I went to this GameStop just off 410 (SW sector of San Antonio). I then bought a used CT3 (Crazy Taxi 3). I put it in my XBox and this message comes up:

“This is an XBox game disc. Please put it in your XBox to start playing.”

Now, like I said, it’s in the XBox (not the 360, the original XBox), and keeps coming up. I even cleaned the disc.

What’s up with it? Should I return it?
All my other games work fine.

Madden ’07, The Sims 2, BK Pocketbike Racing, and GTA: San Andreas all work.
